They turned to me personally with a request to assist in solving the problem at the "KUMTOR". gold mine , which belonged to the "Centerra Gold" Canadian company . It turned out that out of 100 units of CATERPILLAR mining equipment, 30% of the units, stopped for various technical and non-technical reasons. The management of the official dealer of CATERPILLAR, approached me with a proposal to sign a fixed-term contract for 2 months, according to the vacancy of the Coordinator of the Service and Spare Parts Department, to arrive at the Kumtor mine, and personally deal with the problem. On September 3, I arrived at the Kumtor mine and identified the following problems: The point was that Kumtor's staff switched to the SAP program instead of 1C. And could not find parts in stock. For a month, I conducted trainings in the Spare Parts Department, on working in SAP program. This is a German program, an analogue of our 1C Russian one, Accounting and Warehouse. CATERPILLAR specialists encrypted the translation in such a way that the Russian-speaking employees themselves could not use the program. I personally made a new translation, which fully met the requirements. Training was provided on how to use the Service Ingormation System program (SIS) CATERPILLAR. And the problems were solved. The operation of the mine resumed without problems. Outcome: Training was conducted in two areas: 1) Rules of work, in the SAP program; 2) Features of working with the SIS CAT program Which is the Corporate Service Information Program (Service Information System). After trainings, the mine continued to operate normally.
