My mission of the PQE is to assure that the quality processes (including tools and methods) in product & process projects are performed according to the existing procedures, assuring that the project objectives and customer satisfaction are reached. Project Quality - Securing the creation, communication, update and follow-up of the Project Assurance Plan - Define and follow-up activities concerning project risks and issues - Ensures that the appropriate project management processes are used - Support the project management in driving the project with the right quality and define the project targets KPI, PI - Creating/support risk assessment/P-FMEA on project/manufacturing level - Analyze defect/deviation data within the project and assigning responsibility for implementing corrective actions. - Participation in regional project meetings with other Volvo plants with further information distribution to the line/project organization - Data collection and present the project target status at plant and regional levels. - Participation in the local sourcing projects as a representative of the quality department (packaging approval, assembly tests in order to get PPAP etc.). Process Quality - Develop and follow-up the quality assurance plan and quality tool plan including manufacturing validation plan (P-FMEA, PHR) - Proactively support project teams and give training in quality tools and methods - Track and drive the enhanced quality control plan (critical and significant characteristics) at factory level - Updating and creating global quality requirements. - Maintain Quality Control documentation. - Follow product/process quality KPI - Audit of production to meet technical requirements - Drive continuous improvement in quality methods and everyday processes (Kaizen etc.) - Participation in the analysis of critical deviation/failures detected by aftermarket, customer or within the plant , using RCA - 8D, 5W2H, ishikawa, 4M etc. methodologies with the development of containment, corrective and preventive actions based on the results of the investigations.

The main of this position is to ensure the quality of the parts at the plant through communication with component suppliers. Details are given below. - Analysis of issues on the production line, warehouse, control zone, product audit or somewhere else and collection of detailed information to create a report to the supplier. - Claim creation with further tracking correctly performed 8D analysis by the supplier (root cause, corrective actions, TS, LTS etc.) - Verify investigation findings and corrective actions for quality issues to ensure suppliers are performing credible and logical root cause analysis and implement robust permanent / preventive corrections. - Drive the Quality concerns raised from the factory with quick containment and deep dive on the root cause to narrow down with why-why analysis and secure the corrective actions. - Preparation and generalization of the current supplier status (PPM) - Finding ways to prevent recurrence of defects under 8D methodology. - Organization of the incoming inspection and also locking of parts according to systems in order to prevent the use of non-conforming parts into production lines. - Participation in the analysis of issues in the X-functional team (investigation of deviations/defects, feedback, development of corrective/preventive actions and their implementation); - SQ network meetings with other factories (sharing experience, quality alerts etc.) - Support of production/logistic/engineering teams on material quality issues. - Meetings with suppliers at the factory (part handling review process (PHR)) - participation in the localization of parts - participation in defect analysis due to packaging/logistic issues. - Participation in the launch of new projects as a SQ representative.
