IT System Administrator (BMW Financial Services)

Job description and responsibilities:

- Operate IT infrastructure of BMW Financial Services Russia

- Act as a local project manager as well as hands-on support for local and centrally managed IT infrastructure activities

- Support IT security team with implementation and management of IT security tools and systems according to BMW Group policies and local regulations

- Provide 2nd and 3rd level user support for IT infrastructure related topics

- Participate in design and implementation of new localized IT, infrastructure related, solutions.

- Documenting: technical documentations, regulations, diagrams, instructions and user guides, solutions design

- Needs and requirements identifying, negotiations with vendors, proposals preparation, procurement.

- Support infrastructure of the BMW Financial Services Russia

- Support and operate database servers and services (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)

- Support and operate BMW Group Russia datacenters (internal and external)

- Support business projects with infrastructure solutions

- Communications with business.

- Interaction and coordination of activities with external providers.

- Tasks, requests, incident, and change management in area of responsibility. Incidents root cause analysis

- Ensure compliance within company standards, policies, financial regulations, and IT infrastructure safeguarding responsibilities. Establish IT security according to BMW Group policies and local regulations.

- Initiate improvements for internal processes

Desired skills and competencies:

- 5-10 years working experience in IT Infrastructure area

- Good communication skills

- Experience with coordination with local service providers for support and troubleshooting

- Experience with RU cloud solutions

- Expertise in Windows, Linux Servers

- Expertise in MS Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Services

- Expertise in PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL (deployment, administration, failover, support, backup)

- Expertise in IT infrastructure management (servers, networks, storages, databases)

- Experience with MS Exchange 2016/2019 administration and support

- Experience with IT Security Infrastructure (Usergate Proxy, VPN Solutions)

- Experience with monitoring system (Nagios, Zabbix…)

- Experience with implementation and management of Certification Authorities base on Windows Server (with Hardware Security Modules as a plus)

- Experience with malware protection tools (Kaspersky, Dr.Web)

- Experience with Virtualization systems, Backup systems (VMWare, Veeam as a plus)

- Experience with implementation of regulatory requirements for financial institutions (Banks), Insurance companies, telecommunication companies or Integrators (as a plus)

- Basic Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM (IT Infrastructure Library/IT Service Management) process standards

- English language skills (level B2)
