Head of Procurement

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

• Generate and implement efficient sourcing strategies for the Procurement category;
• Responsible for improving the category sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new supplier possibilities;
• Responsible for improving the category by deep diving into the market research and any other possible tools which are bringing cost optimization;
• Responsible for appraising the category sourcing activities executed by the senior buyers;
• Support the deployment of the category strategy for by executing strategic & operational sourcing as per defined strategy;
• Provide together with PPM analytics reporting on actual volumes/ prices and variances vs. budget;
• Drive further optimization of sourcing & negotiation strategy by keeping up to date to latest industry & market trends regarding negotiation & sourcing.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years hands-on experience in procurement is required;
• Higher education;
• English language – Upper-Intermediate preferable;
• Project management skills, ability to build processes;
• Strong problem solving capabilities and analytical skills;
• Ability to see and understand end-to-end processes, cross boundary dependencies;
• Familiar with project management and continuous process improvement methodologies;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels.
