Function: Digital Process Excellence (DPEx)

Our Digital & Process Excellence team plays a critical role in enabling our strategy and business models with the right Digital & Technology backbone. From designing engagement platforms for our customers and partners, driving efficiency and quality in operations and expediting the research outcomes in our R&D – the team is tasked with bringing the thought leadership of leveraging technology for delivering business outcomes. The team, consisting of business consultants, product/program managers and technology architects, primarily operates as an internal consulting organization tasked with ensuring continuous process improvement and driving innovation.

As a part of the team you would create world class solutions to meet unmet needs of patients across the world. Our charter has the following priorities

The role is expected to be a conduit between business teams and DPEx organization balancing the needs of business and delivering the solutions with right bent of technical standards, set up for scale and easy to support. The role will drive stronger partnership within the countries in implementation of projects, OCM and HCP engagement focus among business-focussed initiatives to drive the outcomes set up for each project.

To enable this vision, the individual will work independently/ within DPEx teams across the global and collaborate with cross-functional resources to deliver:

  1. Strategy that aligns with business priorities and enables new business models that add competitive advantage to business.
  2. Building thought leadership and expertise in emerging technologies and creatively applies it to different needs of the business.
  3. Driving continuous Business Process Simplification, Improvement and Excellence.
  4. Implementation of projects within time and budget addressing critical business needs leveraging appropriate technology.
  5. Driving and Ensuring benefit realization of various implemented projects.
  6. Sustaining and maintaining a world class Digital infrastructure and Application landscape.

A. Domain Knowledge:

  1. Excellent Functional knowledge of Corporate function (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal & Compliance and across) in Pharmaceuticals or any other industry.
  2. Working knowledge of core business processes – Order to Cash, Procure to pay, logistics and warehouse management, Accounts Receivables and payables.
  3. Experience Local IT laws, compliance and data privacy requirements.
  4. Exposure of 1C, SAP, Learning, Collaboration & Employee engagement platforms and processes will be an added advantage.

B. Business Process Experience & Digital

  1. Ability to identify and leverage Best Practices and Digital Technology trends across Industries for Pharma business processes and employee collaboration needs.
  2. Capability to lead business process improvement engagements using Digital Technologies and allied change management.
  3. Experience in automating Business processes especially Sales & Marketing processes using traditional and digital technologies like Mobility – Mobile Apps / Social Collaboration / Analytics / Cloud Computing / Big Data etc.
  4. Capability of creating Digital Technology enabled solutions addressing critical business needs

C. Digital Marketing Expertise:

  1. Experience in digital marketing with expertise in Email, Search (SEO & PPC), CRM, paid social (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest), Display, Affiliates.
  2. Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Web Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Social Media Analytics etc.).
  3. Prior working knowledge of Social Media Engagement Tools such as Hootsuite, Brandwatch etc.
  4. Ability to define ROI metrics for brand campaigns as per campaign objectives.
  5. Prior experience as Product Manager (UI/UX, Customer funnel, A/B testing etc.) would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Candidates would be expected to lead independently /minimal supervision:

  1. Lead development and execution of BU Digital Strategy. Partner with regional leadership teams and global DPEx teams to deliver the same.
  2. Leading commercial IT products and Initiatives – CRM, OCM for SF and Marketing functions including customizations, enhancements, end-user support and partner governance.
  3. Lead all market specific initiatives – Serialization/Track & Trace.
  4. Manage all operations of IT procurement, IT operations including local helpdesk, acts and contracts.
  5. Drive adoption of all global solutions for Sales, Marketing excellence including analytics project. Work with market teams to design local requirements, built local governance and capture impact.
  6. Drive all enterprise initiatives and digitalization of other enabler processes in Regulatory, HR, Finance, Supply Chain to enable productivity and compliance requirements.
  7. Collaborate with delivery teams in India, external partners and vendors to deliver as per project plan & business commitments on time and budgets.
  8. Work with global Infrastructure team, Information & Cyber security teams, data privacy and compliance teams to ensure local compliance and global guidelines are adhered too along with establishing governance to monitor compliance and risk management.
  9. Work with global centres of excellence to build the data strategy for the country with strong data governance and analytics delivery platforms.
  10. Work with global centres of excellence to build the digital architecture stack and backbone to deliver multiple solutions effectively.
  11. Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders; to provide clear advice and support to improve understanding and awareness within the business.
  12. Able to handle the sensitive elements of organisational change; communication and handling of any potential conflicts/resistance around change.
