The SEO specialist is responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve the organic visibility and traffic of the company's website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, as well as proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and traffic
Conduct keyword research to identify high-value target keywords
Optimize website content for target keywords
Build and maintain backlinks from high-quality websites
Monitor website traffic and rankings to track progress
Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithms
Work with the content team to create SEO-friendly content
Perform light SEM (Search Engine Marketing) tasks, such as paid search campaigns
Manage SEO-related projects, such as website migrations and redesigns
Other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field (preferred but not required)
3+ years of experience in SEO
Strong understanding of SEO best practices
Proficiency in SEO software and tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic website management/maintenance experience on WordPress or other platforms & knowledge of SEO-related plugins and software
Passion for SEO and digital marketing

This job is on the US time zone of 9 am to 6 pm New York time, so please keep in mind that you would be working evenings. Overtime may be required during busy periods or for busy projects. Saturday work will often be required depending on projects.
