Development Tech Lead/Architect - to Cyprus

Relocation to Cyprus

Responsibilities:

• Assume leadership of the development process, providing guidance to the team
• Assistance with project architecture
• Control and coordinate all aspects of the development lifecycle, from project initiation to delivery and maintenance
• Define and enforce development standards, best practices and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business System Analysts and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements and timelines
• Allocate resources effectively, including personnel and technology, to ensure successful project execution
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues and take proactive measures to mitigate them
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project milestones, deliverables and dependencies
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement within the development team
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software development, with a minimum of 6 years in a leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with Agile, Scrum or other development frameworks
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in project architecture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Willingness to work in an office in Cyprus
