Position: English Language Teacher

Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified English Language Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize modern teaching methods to help our employees improve their English language proficiency. As an English Language Teacher at PayLate, you will play a crucial role in empowering our team members to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging English language lessons using modern teaching techniques.

• Focus on improving communication skills as the foundation for language learning.

• Tailor lesson plans and assignments to the specific needs of Russian-speaking learners who have not spoken English since high school.

• Foster a supportive and fun learning environment conducive to language acquisition.

• Encourage active participation and interaction in English language activities.

• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to facilitate their progress.

• Balance instruction in listening, writing, reading, and speaking skills.

• Collaborate with HR and management to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both Russian and English.

• Qualified English teacher with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.

• Specialization in teaching English to Russian speakers who have limited English proficiency.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize communication skills in language instruction.

• Looking for a teacher who is familiar with any/all of the following techniques: Communicative Language Teaching (CLT); Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT); Content-Based Instruction (CBI); Flipped Classroom; Project-Based Learning (PBL); Fluency-Oriented Instruction (FOI); Peer Teaching; Gamification

• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teaching with a light and engaging spirit.

• Ability to create dynamic and effective lesson plans and assignments.

• Openness to evaluation and feedback on teaching methods and student progress.
