Senior Unity Game Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unity Game Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an established track record of creating engaging interactive experiences for multiplatform and multiplayer games with a focus on educational content.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, and modifying 2D/3D games, from architecture, to layout to function.

• Optimising games for various browser platforms using WebGL.

• Collaborating closely with a wider Novakid engineering team, graphic designers, and content producers and to create educational multiplatform games.

• Translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game.

• Creating and maintaining software documentation.

• Mentoring and supporting junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment within the team.

• Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends in game development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Unity Game Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed games. We are particularly interested in mobile, casual, RPG and kids’ games.

• In-depth knowledge of Unity3D and C# programming language.

• Strong understanding of game design principles and user experience.

• Experience with 2D graphics, spine animation, physics, and VFX.

• Experience with development for entry-level phones and tablets.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
