Proven experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
Deep SQL expertise with a focus on complex queries, database optimisations and data warehousing.
Knowledge of data modelling approaches focused on analytical workloads handling data on a big scale.
Experience building and maintaining data warehouses using cloud / MPP solutions (Snowflake, Vertica, Redshift, BigQuery, Greenplum, etc).
Solid experience using Python for data manipulation, pipeline development and backend systems.
Hands-on experience with ETL / orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, Pentaho DI, etc).
Background in working with Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
