Taitan FZCO is a leading company engaged in the development of infrastructure projects, as well as the implementation of innovative IT solutions for Governments around the world. Taitan FZCO has extensive experience in implementing projects in different countries: Uganda, Kenya, Russia, Kazakhstan and others. We are currently conducting transformational projects in Uganda aiming at digitalizing the tax system and introducing a safe-smart city.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.
Secure project resources and manage project teams.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to government regulations and contract specifications.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and internal teams.
Prepare and deliver project reports and presentations.
Manage project budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
Stay up-to-date on government contracting regulations and procedures.
Implement project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is a must.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the government sector.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Slack etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluent English is a must
