Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Planning, prioritizing and coordinating the quality testing activities;

• Preparing well - structured test plans and test cases;

• Develop and maintain testing processes for the products in order to meet clients needs;

• Perform testing when bugs are resolved;

• Up - to date with new testing tools, technologies and strategies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven work experience in web software testing;

• Experience in web app testing;

• Experience in designing, implementing, and running test cases;

• Ability to differentiate between critical and not critical test coverage;

• Knowledge of REST API and ability to compose requests with Postman;

• Knowledge of JSON, HTML, Cookies, Local Storage, Chrome DevTools, Git, MYSQL/Postgres;

• Understanding the basics of client-server architecture;

• Knowledge of Scrum methodology;

• Experience with Jira;

• Ability to follow and improve the processes;

• Ability to work independently;

• Experience in writing technical documentation.

• Very good lever of the English language, (verbal and written) - Knowledge of the Russian language will be an advantage;

• Experience in fintech projects will be an added advantage;

• Experience in auto testing will be considered as an advantage;

• Ability to share and transfer previous experience to the team;

• Experience in working with test management tools will be an advantage.
