Now we are looking for the middle DevOps Engineer for the Service Delivery Code team. Our team is a division of Hemmersbach, contributing to drive companies’ strong growth through the development and optimization of the internal application, adapted to our processes. As the SDC Team, we are responsible for the creation and continuous improvement of the SDC Platform, which is designed to provide a solution for project transition processes for all Hemmersbach colleagues on a global scale, being the central component in the company for controlling the quality of our business procedures execution.

Your Tasks

Provide a link between developers and IT
Take responsibility for server configurations
Maintenance of Linux systems, keeping environments running & up to date
Implementing and optimising automation, collaboration, and communication tools and processes
Streamline the software delivery pipeline, from development to deployment and beyond, to enable faster, more frequent, and more reliable releases of high-quality software
Continuous improvement of DevOps practices: agility, security, and scalability

Our Requirements

B2 (Upper-intermediate) or higher level of English language;
Linux skills especially shell scripting and system configuration (e.g. LPI Certificate);
Good knowledge of Docker and Compose;
Network configuration experience (also in context of Docker);
Setup and maintain NGINX configuration experience (including reverse proxy);
Setting up automated CI/CD processes knowledge;
At least 3 years of experience in the containerised or cloud administration environment (ideally around SDLC);
Cybersecurity awareness.

Will be a plus: readiness to spend a few days a months in our office in Saint Petersburg.

Infrastructure: Virtual machines on VMWare vSphere, Linux servers (mainly ubuntu), docker containers deployed with gitlab CI/CD, gitlab-runners, portainer queues with RabbitMQ, search engine: ElasticSearch (via php facade), Nexus repository

DBs: MS SQL Server, sqlite, Redis (for cache)

Keycloak as auth service provider, integrated with AD, PRTG sensors & Tenable.io vulnerability scanner in place.

Comms & docs: Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro
