Working: Remotely, as part of an international team

Responsibilities:

Provide methodological guidance for the legal work: clarification of the current legislation, providing advice to the employees on various legal issues;
Legal support in areas: personal data, information security, compliance;
Identify legal risks associated with contractual and operational activities;
Develop or taking part in the development of in-house policies;
Check the suppliers and subcontractors being engaged in order to exercise due diligence when choosing counterparties;
Conduct contractual work: developing & reviewing drafts and templates of contracts; checking compliance with the legislation of contracts submitted by counterparties; checking compliance with the stages of approval of contract drafts by responsible employees;
Participate in negotiations with customers, suppliers and subcontractors;
Carrying out claim work: taking measures to comply with the pre-trial procedure for settling disputes; consideration of claims received from counterparties; preparing claims to counterparties; representation in courts, if necessary;
Representing the interests behind state control and supervisory authorities, including participating in inspections, contesting decisions of state bodies;
Engagement and supervising of foreign legal consultants and lawyers;
Carrying out the implementation of established corporate procedures (holding general meetings of members, registration of changes in state registers, etc.);
Development user manuals and conducting legal trainings among the staff.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Legal Strategy: the ability to develop legal strategies aligned with overall business goals and minimize corporate risk, understanding the wider business context;
Risk Management: adeptness at identifying and mitigating legal risks across the operations;
Knowledge of English at level B2;
Negotiation: strong negotiation capabilities to handle complex issues, corporate deals, settlements and disputes favorably for the business;
Commercial Acumen: business savvy to provide commercially-focused legal advice and understand the financial implications of legal decisions;
Ethics: a strong ethical compass along with the integrity to ensure legal and regulatory compliance even in high pressure situations.
