Deputy General Manager of Subsurface

The Deputy General Manager of Subsurface leads, optimizes and oversees the entire subsurface
operations and activities. They will focus on advancing geological and geophysical processes, as well as
reservoir management strategy to enhance upstream production activities, ensuring operations align with
both technical and business strategies

Key responsibilities
• Guide the assessment and optimization of subsurface resources to maximize extraction efficiency and
economic returns
• Manage geological and geophysical operations, ensuring the accuracy of data interpretation and its application
to exploration and production
• Help adoption of cutting-edge technologies to improve the precision and efficiency of subsurface exploration
• Ensure meticulous reporting standards, facilitating data-driven insights that inform both strategic planning and
day-to-day operational decisions.
• Oversee the implementation of newly established standards and protocols that augment reservoir
management capabilities.
• Formulate and execute strategic plans that bolster subsurface operations and align with the company's goals
• Cultivate a skilled team of subsurface professionals, enhancing their capabilities and promoting a culture of
innovation
• Oversee critical subsurface projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Facilitate seamless integration of subsurface operations with overall field development strategies by
collaborating with other departments
