As the Head of Educational Content, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our curriculum, instructional materials, and overall educational strategy. With a small, dedicated team, you will lead by example, creating engaging English language content for adults while also spearheading curriculum development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to have a hands-on impact on the future of English language education for the tech sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create engaging and industry-relevant English language curricula for IT professionals. Your hands-on approach will set the standard for the team.

• Content Creation: Take the lead in developing instructional materials, including textbooks, online courses, video lessons, and other resources, showcasing your ability to create engaging content for adult learners.

• Quality Assurance: Personally ensure the quality and relevance of educational content, keeping it up-to-date with industry trends and adjusting as needed.

• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a small team of educators, content creators, and curriculum developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence through your direct involvement.

• Assessment and Evaluation: Implement assessment strategies personally to measure the effectiveness of our educational programs, using your insights to drive improvements.

• Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in language teaching, educational technology, and the IT industry to inform curriculum development.

• Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that our educational content aligns with market needs and attracts prospective students.

• Professional Development: Foster ongoing professional growth within the educational content team, including hands-on training, workshops, and skills development led by you.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Education, English Language Teaching, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).

• Extensive experience in content creation for adults, with a portfolio showcasing your engaging materials.

• Proven track record of leadership and hands-on team management in an educational context.

• Strong understanding of the IT industry and the specific language needs of IT professionals.

• Familiarity with educational technology tools and e-learning platforms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Innovative mindset with a passion for enhancing language education.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
