Business System Analyst with fintech/banking experience - Relocation to Cyprus

Our client is part of a leading Management Consultancy firm specialising in driving digital transformation within the fintech industry and has more than 1000 employees across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Taiwan.
They have now expanded to Cyprus to develop an innovative anti-fraud platform for one of the Top 5 Forex brokers. This platform, currently in active development, focuses on advanced risk management and antifraud measures in trading, with all key components being built from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed requirements for technical solutions.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and surveys to gather requirements and elicit business needs.
- Develop and maintain business process models, flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate system interactions and data flows.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure that solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to address them on time.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a business systems analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
- Experience in the fintech industry, preferably background in anti-fraud domain or with trading risks
- Experience in establishing all processes from scratch - nice to have
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering, process modelling, and data analysis.
- Experience with business process management (BPM) tools, such as Visio, Lucidchart or Bizagi.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Willingness to work in an office in Cyprus
- Fluent English
