Senior expediting manager

We are looking for Senior expediting manager.

Responsibilities:

• Centralized management approach review for logistics and expediting processes in Russia, Kazakhstan and Africa
• Centralized reporting on logistics KPIs and performance analysis
• Regular optimization and digitalization of logistics’ processes and data transfers from freight forwarders
• Cost reduction initiatives implementation
• Targeted work with customs requests
• Russian and African expeditors team management and development
• Management of various freight forwarding contracts
• Purchasing of logistics services including:

1. Preparing supply chain strategy for each category
2. Regular market analysis
3. Conduct short-term and long-term tenders
4. Analytics preparation on supplier performance
5. Conducting price benchmark analysis
6. Negotiations with suppliers
7. Data preparation for regular supplier relationship management procedure
8. Implementation of initiatives on working capital improvement

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years in international logistics minimum 3 years in manager position
• Experience in purchasing of services (multimodal logistics (rail, road, sea and air), brokerage services)
• Deep knowledge in logistics and expediting management. Complex production or construction projects experience.
• Expertise in Russian railway troubleshooting
• Experience in mining industry and supplier base as an advantage
• Project leading experience
• Work experience in African continent including local specifics of inland logistics and customs processes will be beneficial
• Fluent English - obligatory, fluent French – as a plus
• Basic commercial knowledge, tender procedures, Incoterms, contract management, logistics, global sourcing, basic accounting knowledge.
• Project management knowledge as a plus.
• SAP (desired), Excel advanced user, Power BI as an advantage.
