Product Data Analyst with fintech/banking experience - Relocation to Cyprus

Our client is part of a leading Management Consultancy firm specialising in driving digital transformation within the fintech industry and has more than 1000 employees across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Taiwan. They have now expanded to Cyprus to develop an innovative anti-fraud platform for one of the Top 5 Forex brokers.

Our client is developing an innovative anti-fraud platform designed to ensure security in trading and payment fields. The platform is in the active development stage, and all key components will be built from scratch, including a rule management engine, integration with various data providers, tools for clone detection, and scoring models. They also plan to develop a unified back-office for rule configuration, transaction monitoring, and risk mitigation management.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze data to understand user behavior and optimize the product.
• Develop and conduct A/B tests to evaluate the impact of changes in the product.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics.
• Collaborate with product, and development teams to provide analytical support and recommendations.
• Identify and analyze key product metrics, and propose measures to improve performance.
• Participate in the formation of product strategy based on data insights.

We are happy to hear from you if you have:

• 4+ years of experience as a product data analyst.
• Experience working in large companies, preferably in the fintech sector. Understanding of the anti-fraud domain.
• Proficiency in working with large datasets and using SQL for data extraction.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI is preferable).
• Knowledge of statistical methods and practical experience in applying them.
• Programming experience in Python
• Experience working in product teams and understanding the basics of product analytics.
• Ability to clearly and accessibly present analysis results, draw conclusions, and formulate recommendations.
• Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Higher education in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or related fields.
• Fluent English
