About the department

Supply Chain is a part of Finance & Operations function of Russia & Belarus affiliate of Novo Nordisk. You will report to Head of Supply Chain and FP&A.

The position

In the position of the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Supply Chain activities for Russia & Belarus. Your main tasks will be:

  • Manage demand and supply planning to ensure optimum sales calendarization and stock levels according to targets and latest demand/supply assumptions;
  • Develop and lead a strong S&OP
  • Build strong collaboration among affiliate, production site in Kaluga and commercial, Business Unit Diabetes, LCQ (Legal, Compliance & Quality), Regulatory and Finance departments.
  • Supervise the warehouse operations and warehouse teams and capacities to support sales targets, quality, supply chain and serialization requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Good Distribution Practice
  • Proactively assess risks in the supply chain, identify and escalate issues, contribute to their resolution
  • Monitor the timely updating of Standard Operating Procedures, participate in audits at all levels.
  • Manage contracts with service providers to ensure the proper quality of services provided and cost effectiveness (warehouse, transportation, customs clearing agents etc)
  • Participate in tendering process for logistics service provides (warehousing, transportation, insurance, etc.).
  • Work on continuous improvement of Supply Chain function.

This position will be an individual contributor but has the potential to grow into managing a team of 5 supply chain professionals.

Qualifications

You have higher academic degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Economics; and minimum 5 years' experience within Logistics or Supply Chain Management roles preferably in pharmaceutical industry. You have minimum 2 years of people management experience. You have processes optimisation, performance tracking and project management experiences as well as experience of working in cross-cultural teams and cross-organisational stakeholder management. You have proven process improvement & problem-solving skills.

  • Your written and spoken English and Russian is fluent.
  • From the technical perspective, you have competency in using Microsoft 365 (Office), SAP and/or other ERP systems.
  • On a personal level, you are capable of strategic thinking and bringing the organisation towards the defined goals. You are strong people and stakeholder manager. You demonstrate ability to work in stressful situations and handle multiple projects simultaneously. You are structured clear minded problem solver with positive attitude and fact base understanding.
