Senior Sales Manager for hotels

Senior Sales Manager (serve as hotels' representative from Moscow office)
Global Hotel Management company is offering position of a Senior Sales Manager with a focus on MICE and leisure group business focusing on foreign market, with flexible work environment and possibility to relocate.

What are your responsibilities?
As a Senior Sales Manager you are responsible for increasing group and catering revenue through the development of existing clientele and expansion of new businesses. The following tasks give an idea of ​​the activities you will be performing:

• Strategic account management from A-Z in MICE and travel/leisure group segment: maintain and develop relationships with all key industry decision-makers such as DMCs/corporate events manager/travel advisors, agencies and any party with group potential.
• Introduce potential accounts by market intelligence overview;

• Present sales activities to outline business progress and opportunities within the Business and Leisure market;

• Develop and present sales strategies to advance the company in the market industry that would increase revenue.

• Increase group and banqueting requests turnover, optimize/increase group conversion;
• Track and review bookings in the systems on occupancy, prices, reason for cancellation, etc.
• Participation in bi-weekly Sales Strategy meetings/calls with hotel sales team;

• Participation in weekly Group Sales meeting/calls with hotel sales team;

• Work closely with sales team to ensure the assigned targets are met monthly, quarterly, and annually.

• Maintain effective working relationship with both HQ Regional team and hotel sales team;
• Reporting to the Regional Executive Director (HQ).

Who are we looking for?
You have the following characteristics:
• You are proactive, result-oriented and you can easily make well-considered decisions without much steering;

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or equivalent position in hotels;

• Strong and extensive experience in establishing external relationships, excellent communication skills, superb presentation skills;

• Strong analytical skills in the hospitality industry.
• You have an excellent command of the English language, knowledge of German language is a big plus;

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, Opera.
