Head of ALM (Azerbaijan Bank, Baku)

Job duties:

- Monitor daily reports to manage the bank's assets and liabilities

- Ensure compliance with interbank rules and regulations when managing liquidity risks

- Support the department in preparing and effectively implementing Funds Transfer Pricing statements

- Oversee initiatives aimed at protecting the bank from liquidity, interest, and exchange rate risks

- Manage cleared funds and develop proposals for investment activities in financial markets

- Oversee the compilation of statements for the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee (ALCO)

- Conduct analysis and forecasting to continuously provide financial resources required for the business activity of the bank

- Participate in directing the work of the department correctly.

- Arrange and hold meetings of the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee.

- Determine interest rates on loan and deposit portfolio of the bank in line with the bank's strategic models for the current period and during the budget process.

Requirements:

- Education: Higher education in finance, economy or other relevant field

- Work experience: Minimum 6 years of work experience in treasury, finance or relevant field

- License/Certificate: Certificate on CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (desirable)

- Foreign language: English (fluent)
