Our Client, an international company – auto components distributor, is looking for Area Sales Manager to join its team in Kazakhstan.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall sales functions and sales personnel of the assigned region (Kazakhstan).
- Develop and plan strategies for the growth and expansion of the sales activities in order to capture market and establish image of the product/services.
- Plan and implement sales and promotion strategies and policies in order to achieve the sales targets.
- Forecast sales budget in consultation with management and ensure forecast is converted into timely orders.
- Set targets for the different sales teams and incentivize their performanceEvaluate and appraise the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, manpower to generate budgeted level of business and profitability.
- Provide training to the sales team on all the new processes, products, and pricing.
- Analyze the trends and set product pricing in consultation with the concerned departments.
- Develop and evaluate new product ideas. Make recommendations to management regarding opportunities to maximize sales.
- Responsible for implementing the action plans of customer feedback survey.
- Responsible for Corporate Relationship building and loyalty programs.
- Manage the inventory ordered against the forecast and ensure that inventory levels are optimal at all times.
- Development of organizational procurement strategy in consultation with the Group Procurement Head.
- Creation and improvement of best-practice based processes (e.g., leadership of high-value/strategic sourcing efforts).
- Identification and realization of cost-saving and to evaluate pricing effectiveness, profitability, and competitive positioning.
- Development of benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous improvement.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers to secure favorable terms, prices, and conditions.
- Working closely with Company HR Head and Human Capital Management Team on team management issues.
- Making sure that the employees are motivated and up to the tasks in their respective departments.
Requirements:
- University degree (Marketing/Management), MBA is desirable.
- Previous experience in Russia/Kazakhstan/CIS countries as Area Sales Manager/General Manager/Head of Sales.
- Previous experience in auto components distribution business.
- Essential knowledge in business administration and concepts necessary for understanding and effectively shaping the processes, organization, and decision-making in a company.
- Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems, as well as strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services.
- Analytical mindset, but also creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches.
- Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk.
- Strong negotiation skills, communication skills and leadership ability.
- Good knowledge of English, Russian or Kazakh language.

- Working location will be in Almaty with business trips to other locations.
