SRE / Linux engineer

This position requires working in an office in Cyprus.

We are looking for a passionate SRE/Linux Engineer to develop, optimize and maintain our servers and privacy networks. The main focus of the role will be on reliability tasks, debugging, profiling, and finding bottlenecks. We expect excellent knowledge and experience with Linux.

High-frequency trading relies on fast networks, so the more speed we can achieve, the better. And we offer truly engaging and extremely challenging tasks that are rarely encountered in other fields.

Responsibilities

• Reliability Optimization and Network Performance.
• Automation of configuration and server allocation for a flexible and scalable architecture.
• Development and maintenance of a performance monitoring infrastructure.

We are looking for a person who is

• Expert with Linux:

  • Understanding how an application works on Linux.
  • Ability to trace it in all aspects.

• Quite good at networking:

  • Control and Data planes.
  • Linux Networking Subsystem: from NIC to application (back and forth).
  • Deep dive troubleshooting: transport and within the host.

• Eager to automate routine tasks (Python, Ansible, etc.).

• Experienced with public clouds: AWS, Azure, AliCloud.
• Ready to maintain infrastructure that works 24/7.
• Responsible and punctual.
