Our client is a local fast-growing Petrochemical Trading Company.

Deputy COO

The main functionality is the planned daily work in areas related to improving of the sales strategy, O2C and marketing.

Task description:

• Overseeing and managing operations and team performance
• Developing and implementing commercial programs and initiatives

Job description:

• Execute strategy according to an operational plan and provide oversight and guidance to ensure day to day business running
• Supervise project activities of sales, marketing and O2C teams
• Interact with clients and suppliers to identify improvement/development areas and optimize supply chain
• Manage day-to-day logistics activities to meet operational objectives and standards
• Analyze data relating to transportation costs, storage costs, suppliers’ performance, inventory control and other areas of logistics activity to identify areas for improvement and cost saving
• Closely cooperate with major resin supplier by exchanging business practices and market information. Follow the commercial goals, defined by the distribution agreement (sales benchmark premium, volume, working capital level, etc.).

Requirements:

• 10+ years (5+ in management role) of relevant multifunctional experience in B2B international commodity sales and distribution and an international MBA or equivalent degree in business administration, management, sales, or an equivalent
• Working experience with polymers/petrochemicals and/or polymer products
• Portfolio of accomplishments includes successful business development and marketing projects
• Solid understanding of international sales & distribution associated business processes (logistics, document flow, trade finance, etc.)
• Masters degree or higher in International Business or Business Development
• Fluent English and Russian, Vietnameese and Chineese - as an advantage
• Ready for long-term relocation to Vietnam
