Our Team is currently looking for a dynamic Assistant Front Office Manager responsible for the general supervision of the Front Desk and in the absence of the Front Office Manager, responsible for the supervision of all Front Office Operations.
Duties
- To be fully conversant with room status to maximise room sales
- To provide cover in all areas of the Front Office Department as and when required
- To be fully conversant with all Front Office departmental policies and procedures
- To create and implement new procedures for new programmes
- To oversee the pre-allocation of V.I.P./Regular Guest rooms
- To help prepare, implement and report on departmental goals and training plan
- To ensure all Front Office Operations are adequately staffed
- To ensure the Hotel Credit Policy is adhered to by the Front Office Department
- To conduct the monthly departmental meeting in the absence of the Front Office Manager
- To ensure Front Desk staff are quoting correct room-rates and using yield management system to maximise on average rate and revenue
Requirements
- Demonstrates advanced organisational and managerial skills
- Provides leadership and motivation to maximise employee productivity and satisfaction
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with Yes I Can! attitude
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Focus on exceeding customer expectations
- Extensive experience with PMS Opera Front Office
Relevant experience in Radisson hotels is preferable
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Flexible and pro-active
- Good team player
- Organized and tidy
- This position will report directly to the Room Division
