Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Fundraising Manager to join our team at the PointPay ecosystem. As a Fundraising Manager, you will play a crucial role in attracting investors and scheduling meetings. You will also be responsible for building relationships, conducting outreach, and potentially closing deals, depending on your level of crypto knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies to attract investors to the PointPay ecosystem products. We are not looking for a consultant but a hands-on doer.
Identify and engage potential clients, including high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, venture funds, and corporations.
Monitor and track fundraising activities, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Collaborate with the investment team to stay updated on market trends and fund performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the fund's investment strategy.
Conduct presentations, meetings, and negotiations.
Stay informed about industry developments and competitors' strategies to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
Understanding of cryptocurrencies and the broader blockchain ecosystem.
A strong network of potential investors and a track record of successfully raising funds.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to comprehend complex investment strategies.
Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet fundraising targets and drive growth.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools, CRMs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
We also value a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field but appreciate attitude over education.

Additional Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a fundraising strategy for the PointPay ecosystem of companies, including writing grant proposals, diversifying and scaling up the Group's income streams, managing donor relations, and reporting.
Work closely with stakeholders.
Support leaders in subsidiary companies in considering their fundraising strategies.
Robust knowledge of compliance with and enforcement of fundraising regulation processes.
Comprehend and communicate critical details from bid specifications.
Identify barriers to funding opportunities and find solutions to limit or overcome those barriers.
Record data to support evidence and reporting to funders.
Respond to fundraising trends in our data and external factors.
Understand and assess the impact of commercial challenges and opportunities in the sector and Thera Group's response to these.
