Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of mandatory CA events posted in company's accounts with prime brokers and custodian;
- Reviewing of CA announcements and vendor information to validate CA parameters, and timely identify and resolve any potential discrepancies with prime brokers and custodians;
- Communicating with prime brokers and custodians to obtain necessary specific details of CAs;
- Keeping track of missed or improperly booked CAs by the counterparties, and ensuing proper remediation follow-up;
- Processing of mandatory CA events in client’s accounts within the Company’s back-office systems;
- Reconciling and validating tax details and implications of CAs with in-house tax advisor;
- Monitoring and responding to client inquiries related to existing/potential CA events;
- Cooperating with the Reconciliation Team and assisting with the investigation of breaks caused by CA events;
- Supporting initiatives developments in the internal CA monitoring and processing systems.
Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in financial services, preferably brokerage or custodial businesses, with
exposure to equity and fixed income securities; - Experience of validating, reconciling and processing of common corporate action types, such as
dividend, coupon, maturity, splits; - Attention to detail, numerical literacy, analytical mindset, data management capabilities;
- Understanding of process flows: the ability to look at the overall process and explain it to others;
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities;
- Working command of Russian and English languages.
