Scope of the Role

1. Primary financial accounting
2. Сurrent payments execution and control (procurement, salaries, etc.).
3. Management accounting – setting up, conducting management accounting (P&L, Cash flow, BS), interaction and supervision of consultant accountants
4. Financial planning - cash flow overseeing to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
5. Budgeting and financial control - expenses monitoring and control to ensure adherence to the budget
6. Tax planning and compliance - ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
7. Treasury management - cash flow management, overseeing banking relationships
8. Continuous improvement - continuous financial processes evaluation in order to identify areas for improvement and best practices implementation.
9. Assistance with other CFO’s tasks.

Requirements

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting

- Proficiency in analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Ability to generate detailed financial reports and forecasts.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting

- Experience in creating and managing budgets

3. Accounting Knowledge

- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
- Proficiency in maintaining general ledger accounts and performing reconciliations.
- Experience with financial audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

4. Taxation

- Knowledge of corporate tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to prepare and review tax returns.
- Expertise in tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

5. Financial Software Proficiency

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Experience with financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks).

6. Cash Flow Management

- Skills in managing cash flow and working capital.
- Ability to forecast cash requirements and ensure liquidity.
- Competence in optimizing the cash conversion cycle.

7. Financial Regulations and Compliance

- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to ensure company adherence to regulatory standards
- Experience with internal controls and risk management.
