Sales Executive Groups & Events position is great opportunity to join the international hotel company and get personally acquainted with exciting world of events’ planning (from private weddings to huge business conferences and symposiums) as well as groups accommodation. The candidate is expected to be keen on challenges, desperate for new knowledge and true team player.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implements all active Sales Activities in a specific area of responsibility with the goal of generation and converting leads to achieve/exceed budgeted revenues.
  • Ensures guests expectations are exceeded with a professional and proactive work.
  • Achieve monthly budget goals and personal business targets.
  • Maintain, acquire and develop new and existing accounts to increase market share through research, telesales, existing databases etc.
  • Explore business opportunities and convert them into room nights and revenue.
  • Reply on all requests including accommodation and banqueting and meeting facilities according to the SOP.
  • Follow up of all new incoming leads and maximization of its conversion. Collate, send and follow up proposals, contracts and credit agreements according to the Company and Russian legislation guidelines.
  • Follow up with clients before, during and after the function/event/stay to ensure repeat business. Is responsible for cash collection from business partners and cooperates with the Accounts receivable team to ensure consistency.
  • Encourage accurate database management and tracking of activities and information in Opera.
  • Conduct site inspection effectively and professionally with thorough knowledge of clients’ needs and hotel product.
  • Handle complaints and pass to the Hotel Management.
  • Ensure that deadlines are always adhered to.
  • Always thoroughly prepare for engagements, both internal and external, and represent Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications required.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Previous experience in a hotel would be a preference
