Senior Java developer (Fintech)| Remote or Barcelona

The founders, who are alumni of top tech universities, bring extensive cross-product experience in traditional finance (structured products & financial engineering) and technology. Supported by prominent investors, the team aims to become a key player in the industry.

We are seeking a talented and experienced backend engineer with expertise in fintech to join the dynamic tech team. This is a pivotal role within the company, offering significant responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of backend development experience, including time in the financial sector (e.g., payments, trading, accounting).
• Strong proficiency in modern Java and JVM technologies or other OOP languages.
• Experience with various cloud infrastructures.
• Solid understanding of code quality principles and testing techniques.
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design principles and scalable distributed systems.
• Familiarity with different architectural patterns.
• Startup experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Verbal and written English from level B2.
• Blockchain (DeFi) and related technologies (EVM, Solidity) experience is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
