Responsibilities:
Lead Insights and Analytics Agenda:
- Lead insight agenda aiming to navigate/support business decisions and choices linked to the market context.
- Identifies knowledge gaps and business needs in RU and build recommendations / learning plan with priorities to address them.
- Prepares accurate forecast of spending and balanced budget management.
Champion trends & insights:
- Synthesizes and shares with the organization market place dynamics (retail trends, shopper/consumer trends) to identify opportunities/ issues/ risk/white space and recommends appropriate alternative actions to address those trends or issues.
Develop and activate insights driven capabilities in organization:
- Leads knowledge management in the organization.
- Works with Global Insights communities to keep updated to best practices.
- Ensures that guidelines for methodologies and tools are applied correctly and consistently.
- Runs workshops and trainings to develop insights capabilities.
I&A team management
- Manages team of I&A managers to ensure high level of engagement and performance.
- Regularly does objective settings, evaluation and development of each of the team member.
Supplier relationship management
- Builds effective working relationships with external suppliers to drive commitment and service quality.
- Manages relationships with Nielsen/GFK/All the rest locally and serves as the main point of contact for queries and services.
- Establish new vendor relationship to grow effectiveness and efficiency of the learning agenda.
Link with broader community
- Ensures that all available insights across the company are leveraged to provide a holistic view of the category and channel opportunities and issues relevant for specific projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Insights & Analytics managerial role with 5+ subordinates in a big international company.
- Research Planning Skills in connection with business & environment context.
- Strong knowledge of Research Tools & techniques. In particular good at distinguishing insights that can be leveraged against the business challenges and opportunities.
- Understanding and usage of multiple data sources to build simple and smart selling stories with clear and actionable recommendations – skilled in reducing complexity.
