Lead Unity Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Unity engineer to lead the development of a new 3D mid-core console game. In this role, you will be involved in forming the team from the early stages of the project, developing a prototype, and then leading the expansion of the team towards the full production phase. As the project progresses, you will work with various specialized teams to achieve the project's goals and deliver a high-quality game to the market.

This position will be the core of the team and be responsible for the workflow and progress management of the entire project. Throughout the entire game development process, you will tackle technical challenges, provide optimal solutions, and ensure the quality of the product. Together with the team, you will introduce new technologies and explore ways to improve the efficiency of game development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the game design team to understand project requirements and contribute to the technical design of game systems
• Implement core gameplay mechanics, controls, and systems using industry-standard programming languages and frameworks.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable and efficient game architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate third-party tools and middleware into the game development pipeline.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve the quality and innovation of our games.

Language Skills

• English - Text communication (email, slack, etc.) in English is common with other departments.
• Japanese - N3. Not required, but will be a bonus when considering a vacancy

• Salary from ¥250,000 + bonuses.
