Regional Operational Director (CIS/MENA/Africa/Asia/Latin America)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Operational Director to lead and manage operations in one of the following regions: CIS/MENA/Africa/Asia/Latin America. The role involves overseeing the activities of Country Managers within the assigned region, ensuring that business objectives are met in each market, and driving regional growth. The Regional Operational Director will work closely with the headquarters in Moscow to align regional strategies with overall company goals and ensure effective execution across all markets within their region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage Country Managers within the assigned region, providing guidance, support, and oversight to ensure successful business operations in each country.
- Develop and implement regional strategies that align with the company’s global objectives and drive growth across the region.
- Monitor and analyze market performance, ensuring that each country meets its GMV, market share, and other key performance targets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams at the headquarters in Moscow to ensure regional alignment with overall company strategies and initiatives.
- Oversee the development and execution of market-specific strategies in each country, ensuring they are tailored to local conditions while aligning with regional goals.
- Ensure the establishment and optimization of business processes across the region to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Support Country Managers in building and developing their local teams, ensuring that each market has the resources and leadership needed to succeed.
- Drive innovation in customer experience, delivery times, product assortment, and related services across the region.
- Regularly report on regional performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Regional GMV growth.
- Month-over-month growth across the region.
- Increase in market share of the region relative to the overall company business.
- Achievement of key targets by Country Managers under your supervision.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in e-commerce, online retail, or business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing multiple markets or a region.
- Proven track record in driving business growth across multiple countries, with deep understanding of market dynamics and business practices in the specific region (CIS/MENA/Africa/Asia/Latin America).
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring country-level leaders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a focus on results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English and relevant regional languages being a plus.
