Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

- Develop, implement, and manage digital projects to ensure timely and on-budget completion of digital initiatives. Ensure the integration of new digital solutions with existing systems and workflows.

-Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

2. Stakeholder and Resource Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams, and external vendors. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

- Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, budgets, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness

3. Performance and Reporting:

- Calculate, plan and track projects’ economic effect using appropriate metrics and KPIs to ensure company goals are being met.

- Facilitate and drive work sessions, prepare and present regular status reports to senior management.

- Lead Change, acting as change agent use skills and expertise to inspire a shared purpose of intent, drive project awareness, communications, and training while ensuring effective transition into operations.

4. Innovation and Strategy:

- Contribute to the company’s digital strategy by identifying opportunities for technological innovation and enhanced operational efficiency.

- Support the development of long-term digital transformation roadmaps aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

5. Technology and new initiatives:

- Oversee the deployment of digital technologies and systems, such computer vision, AI, predictive analytics, and digital twins for mine operations.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and integrate innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree: In fields such as Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related mining discipline.

2. Project Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on digital projects or IT implementations. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

3. Project Management Skills: Develop and manage project roadmap. Excellent planning, organizational, time-management skills. Ensure the preparation and delivery of required project documentation. Ability to use project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA). Contribute to communication plan and change management.

4. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development life cycles, digital transformation processes, and technology implementation.

5. Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent presentation skills for conveying complex information clearly and concisely.

6. Team Management: Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.

7. Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

8. Languages: English B2-C2, French as a plus.
