Operational CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced operational CFO to oversee the implementation of management accounting, an external “Big Four” audit and the introduction of IFRS at a fast-growing Russian IT company. You will participate in the quest to either facilitate an equity sale to a large corporate acquirer or prepare the company for an IPO at the Moscow Stock Exchange.

You will be working alongside our CEO, who is responsible for the client’s investor relations, forecasts, comparative and standalone valuation, and negotiations with potential buyers. You will be expected to provide a substantial input into those endeavours.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CFO or similar role in a fast-paced business environment.

• Deep understanding of IFRS.

• Very strong skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets.

• Good understanding of the Russian business environment.

• Fluency in English and Russian.

Desirable but not required:

• Work experience at an IT company.

• A working command of Python and/or SQL.

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA.

• Experience in LLM prompts (in particular, ChatGPT).
