Senior technical consultant (biopharmaceutical equipment)

The senior technical consultant is responsible for providing from upstream to downstream process-related scientific solutions to customer problems, thus enhancing our competitive positioning.

Обязанности:

• Expert in bioprocessing, biomanufacturing, and process development.
• Design and conduct hands-on process development, scale-up and implementation work folowing self-developed protocols aligned with best practices.
• Process and analyze raw data to demonstrate technical expertise through scientific thought process and recommend scale-up implementation and operational best practices.
• Deliver high-quality communication to ensure an outstanding customer experience through written reports, teleconferences, and face-to-face meetings.
• Provide standard or customized training in bioprocess technologies with high quality.
• Lead internal and external thought leadership activities via application projects or presentations at conferences.
• Apply customized solutions based on scientific knowledge or modeling to address complex troubleshooting and investigation.
• Prioritize projects, plan and execute support activities aligned with the business strategy.
• Contribute to global technology-focused teams through regular updates, identifying knowledge gaps, and communicating as the China representative.
• Provide complex consultation and advice using scientific modeling.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to address customer needs.
• Support the team leader in coaching and knowledge transfer to junior members on technical best practices.

Требования:

• Holds a master's or PhD degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related engineering disciplines.

• Has at least 5 years of working experience in biology-related companies.

• Familiar with downstream processes.
• Capable of setting priorities and assuming ownership of critical project development activities until completion.
• Possesses excellent data analysis and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates strong presentation, computer, and communication skills.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
• Experience in cGMP manufacturing or MST is preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
