Responsibilities: Development of Structured Commodity Financing platform and support in VTB’s commodities capabilities including, but not limited to:
- Lead credit analysis and other internal approval processes; liaise with Credit Risk Management and support services;
- Work closely with relevant industry (O&G, M&M, Agro) Coverage Bankers in promoting commodities financing and FI products to Bank’s clientele; coverage of the commodities’ exposed corporate clients (O&G, M&M and Agro producers) and FI (opportunities for cross sell – risk management in commodities, FX, interest rates, commodity-linked investor products and other products of the bank);
- Regular discussions & meetings with commodities producing clients on understanding their trading strategies, processing and logistical requirements in order to offer tailor-made risk management, credit and financing solutions (OTC, exchange traded products: vanilla swaps and options, look-alikes, option structures etc.);
- Work on all phases of clients’ legal, compliance, credit clearance at VTB Moscow and VTBE as well as other VTB’s entity as may be required. Provide help as required for PAO and ZAO commodities set up;
- Bank’s credit portfolio management, validation of risk concertation;
- Development of risk/performance balanced credit portfolio in certain industry/region;
- Meet the budget of commodity financing platform and other business targets;
- Participation is defining and managing (during the set-up phase) execution book in-line with stated risk profile;
- Participation in establishing credit lines, trading limits, electronic trading platforms, all supporting documentation for pre-pay, post-pay, PXF, tolling and other commodity financing transactions;
- To perform other roles and responsibilities as may be required by the business.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Pre-screening new opportunities in financing, review, edit and refine financial models and valuation analyses. Conduct company and industry analyses and lead due diligence processes on credit side; O&G, M&M and Agro industry reviews;
- Monitor credit risk positions taken on the books;
- Work closely with credit mid-back office: control of daily statements from brokers, margin call payments, positions reporting, end-of-the-day reconciliation and others;
- Participation in clearance and compliance with various brokerage houses, exchanges, OTC brokers, major commodity trading companies and banks;
- Coordination of responses on various methodology issues (ROE, RAROC);
- Keeping up to date on Treasury and funding costs;
- P&L reporting and sign off;
- Prepare marketing materials and teasers, as well internal memos.

Key Competencies & Qualifications:
- Excellent credit analysis experience;
- Solid financial modelling skills;
- Experience in investment banking or credit/equity research is a plus;

- Extensive knowledge derivatives business is a plus;
