The candidate will be responsible for the Information Security implementation, risk assessments, approvals and reporting for the Shanghai branch.
The candidate will be involved in global IT Infrastructure and Application implementation, risk assessments, advise about Information Security compliance, perform practical countermeasures and Information security reporting and quality assurance.

Principal Responsibilities
The candidate will be part of the global Information Security team and be based in Shanghai with a fluid and varied workload.
Accountabilities may vary at any point in time but will cut across the following disciplines and areas:

Information Security Officer Duties

planning and organizing the implementation of information security monitoring systems (DLP, IDS, IAM, etc.).
administration and maintenance of information security monitoring systems
analyzing current threats, information security incidents, and preparing proposals for improving IS systems;
creating and implementing a strategy for the deployment of information security technologies and solutions to minimize the risk of cyber-attacks;
undertake new security improvement projects to improve the security controls, efficiency and ease of client engagement with the global function;
supporting and usage of data encryption methods and certification center functions.

Key Competencies & Qualifications

full-time Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines namely Electronics & Telecommunications / Computer Science / Electronics & Electrical / Information Technology / Information Security / Electronics & Communication or Master’s in Computer Application from a University / Institute recognized by Government of China or of Russia or its Regulatory bodies. Preferably with specialization in information security / IT Risk Management / Cyber Security etc.;
in depth knowledge of Network firewalls, VPN & Security products as well as application and cloud computing;
in depth knowledge of anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering;
professional Certifications: CISSP/CISM/CISA/MCSP/CCSK/CCSP is preferred;
knowledge of risk assessment methods, technologies and tools;
strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a meticulous attitude;
able to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision and highly self-motivated;
high quality orientation with strong communication skills and with good verbal and written communications skills are essential;
previous working experience with financial organization/Bank in a similar capacity is desirable;
minimum 5 years of work experience in information technologies specialization (at least 3 years in Information Security role);
English - Upper Intermediate.
