Сurrently we are looking for a Business Application Manager to join Alcon and help the world See Brilliantly!
All in-scope IT applications/tools/interfaces should operate with expected service levels and stability. Security and data integrity should be maintained on proper level. Demand for new/additional functionality/Interfaces should be collected, prioritized, budgeted and approved with relevant stakeholders in Russia business and Alcon corporate IT functions according to processes.
Job Duties
- Responsible for business applications in Russia&EAEU;
- Establish and maintain in-scope applications support via own knowledge, local and Alcon global 3-rd party suppliers with the aim to provide applications stability and business processes continuity;
- Monitor support/development services quality to meet established SLAs. Track 3-rd party suppliers quality based on SLAs and KPIs. Make necessary corrective actions;
- Closely follow-up on all in-scope applications incidents, problems, change request to provide resolution or changes according to plan, good quality, properly approved/documented;
- Establish and run governance processes for in-scope applications to drive enhancement and functionality extension processes transparent, clear with proper approval and budget/resources assignment;
- Maintain application data, interfaces and IT security by regular checks with process owners;
- Regularly communicate with all applications stakeholders from local business, global IT teams and supporting functions to keep high level of alignment;
- Maintain high quality of applications documentation. Keep and develop knowledge base to share it with first line support and in case of transition from one supplier to another;
- Proactively identify areas for improvement for applications functionality, support quality, users satisfaction based on own experience and business needs;
- Act as mentor for application support personal to form high performance/service culture;
- Lead or coordinate the development (project management area) of application and/or integrations with service providers

- Support budget is tracked, planned and optimized for each in-scope application
- Compliance with Alcon standards (IT processes and approvals)
- Monitor and coordinate critical project deadlines
- Documentation quality in line with company standards
- Stakeholders and end-users satisfaction
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree;
- Language: fluent English;
- Experience: 2 years of demonstrated skills on similar role or business/system analyst roles;
- Experience of delivering complex applications to satisfy business needs;
- Project management skills, includes budgeting, tracking and measuring progress, transition application to on-going support and KPI’s reporting;
- Ability to collect and analyze customer insights, understand application landscape in Alcon locally and globally, and propose the best fit for purpose solution;
- Communication, presentation skills and influence skills to manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders and vendors;
- Multitasking;
- Technical skills: understanding of client-server technologies, network technologies on general level, web technologies.
