Boost.Express is a Collaborative Advertising platform for the business events industry.
We are a small distributed team with global ambitions — to launch a new product category in EventTech. We are currently working to onboard our first customers in North America and Europe.
We need to grow fast, that's why we've opened the IT Operations Manager position you're looking at now.

Role Overview:
As the IT Operations Manager at Boost.Express, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT operations, ensuring that our systems are robust, secure, and scalable as we grow. You will manage and support our distributed team by maintaining the infrastructure that powers our platform, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing best practices for IT governance. Your work will ensure that our team can operate efficiently and that our platform can support our global customer base reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect company data and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
IT Support: Provide technical support to our distributed team, addressing hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
System Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring that services are delivered as required and within budget.
Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline IT processes and workflows, driving operational efficiency across the organization.
Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with our development teams to support the deployment, monitoring, and management of our applications.
Implementation of Systems and Services: Lead the implementation of essential systems and services (CRM, Marketing, Analytics) to support business operations, ensuring they are effectively integrated and optimized for company needs.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in integrating and administering cloud and SaaS services, including Google for Workplace, CRM systems, and no-code/low-code solutions. Proficiency in managing and optimizing these tools to support business processes and enhance team productivity.
Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience in implementing and managing security protocols.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver on time and within budget.
Team Collaboration: Experience working in a distributed team environment and collaborating effectively with remote teams.
