Responsibilities:
The scope of the role involves analysing data, understanding trends, and providing actionable insights to optimise the API distributions and drive commercial success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technical and analytical requirements.
- Analyse API usage, performance, and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports in SQL and tools like Metabase to track key metrics and KPIs.
- Support the design and optimisation of API distribution strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Assist in pricing analysis, market segmentation, and competitive benchmarking.
- Participate in project meetings, gather requirements, and document workflows and processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Proven knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write and optimise queries.
- Exposure to analytics tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools and Metabase experience.
- Understanding of API-based business models and distribution strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the travel or technology industry will be advantageous.
