Senior Go Full Stack Developer

As the Team Lead, you will play a crucial part in building and developing our new cloud solution, designed to rival industry leaders. As a Senior Full Stack Developer at ServerMania, you will lead our development initiatives and manage the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, visual design and third-party libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our custom IaaS solution for cloud services, written in Go and Vue
• Develop and maintain various front-end and backend libraries and tools
• Collaborate with peer developers and stakeholders to improve usability and contribute to the ongoing improvement of team practices and procedures
• Improve existing codebase
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
• Occasionally provide code reviews for junior developers
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends

Required Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role
• Go
• PostgreSQL
• Vue, Typescript
• Knowledge and deep experience in architecting and building complex REST JSON and GraphQL API with high performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
• Experience with Kanban and agile methodologies

Bonus Skills

• OpenStack experience is a bonus
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SCSS
• Git and GitHub
• Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, CI/CD, GitHub actions
• Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work

Job Type: This position begins as a 12-month contract with the potential to transition to a full-time role.
