Job Overview:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems. The candidate will play a key role in the development and maintenance of IT systems to meet the needs of our organization. This role involves working closely with both IT professionals and business managers to understand and address complex system requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct a thorough analysis of existing systems; identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system specifications and architectures
• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
• Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
• Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
• Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
• Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
• Ensure system compatibility and integration with existing IT infrastructure
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

• University degree in a technically oriented field (STEM)
• Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role
• Experience with system design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
• Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages, understanding of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
• Working knowledge of UML, ERD or BPMN 2.0
• Domain-specific certifications would be an advantage
• Knowledge of ISO-IEC-IEEE-29148-2018 would be an advantage
