The position is vacant at the Lefa mine, Guinea(Africa)

Responsibilities:

Lead projects within Business System Department aiming cost reduction, efficiency and productivity improvement across all functions of the enterprise
Actively participate in project management and performance improvement activity
Monitoring and analysis on key operational and financial performance indicators making sure company performance is within the business plan expectations
Run, support and manage continuous improvement and innovation projects pipeline
Assist with efficiency improvement initiatives from concept to realization
Active communication with HQ (monthly, quarterly etc. presentations on department results and activities, involvement in business planning process, assisting in CAPEX program development)
Run data management projects on a mine site, reporting optimization and support
Run digitalization projects across all departments
Lead workshops on process studies, problem definition, root cause analysis, and improvement solutions
Gather and analyze data, perform core analysis on key KPI’s
Prepare and present materials supporting decision-making – business cases development, investment cards development for innovations and CAPEX initiatives
Develop and prepare materials for use in the business improvement events

Requirements:

University degree in science, engineering, business administration or similar
At least 5 years professional record in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or business transformation
Spoken languages: Russian, English (fluent), French (an advantage)
Passion and drive for gold mining industry
Outstanding analytic competence
Implementation drive
Ability to work under pressure
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experienced user level is a plus
Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with all levels in the organization
Very strong team spirit
