We are Z-Software RUS a subsidiary of Z-Software GmbH. Z-Software GmbH, founded in 2008, is a passionate and long-standing multi-platform and multi-genre video game development studio based in Dortmund Germany. With over 19 released products and successful releases on different platforms (Windows-PC, MacOS, iOS, Android, Xbox360, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch and PS4/PS5), the company proved its expertise.

Z-Software is supporting local up-and-coming developers, game designers and young professionals through close relations with Gametreff NRW and membership in associations in “games.nrw” and the industry association “game”.

We are currently looking for 3D ARTIST (Props) for our office in Nizhny Novgorod to support our parent company in Dortmund.

Responsibilities

• Creation and texturing of 3D models (props, vehicles and environment) with integration in engine
• Close collaboration with programmers and designers to speed up and improve workflows
• Support Game Designers and Artists in the overall vision for the game
• Deliver results with respect to feedback and deadlines

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in GameDev
• Game-ready pipeline (incl. mid-poly)
• Knowldge of trims and tiles
• 3DsMax, Maya, or Blender
• Substance Painter and Designer
• Good English

Nice to have skills

• Interest to cars or car modelling experience
• Experience with version control system like SVN or git
• Experience in Unity 3D or Unreal Engine 4/5
• Photoshop/Krita
• Texturing in Marmoset Toolbag
• Sculpting in zBrush
• Stylized texturing and modelling
• LODs and collisions
