Cradle Vision Tech is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our technical projects. The ideal candidate will drive the organization of work processes, optimize development team procedures, and implement methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and other project management frameworks. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing cross-functional teams, ensuring efficient project execution, and fostering continuous improvement across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and lead project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Agile & Scrum Implementation:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) to maintain project momentum.
- Implement and refine Agile methodologies tailored to project needs.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact between development teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensure clear and timely communication of project progress, issues, and changes.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Utilize tools such as GitHub, Jira, or Trello to track project progress and manage code repositories.
- Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budgets, and tools.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address project issues proactively to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze current processes and suggest improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
- Drive initiatives for continuous process improvement across projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the technology or software development industry.
- Proven track record of managing multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.
- Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, GitHub, etc.) and familiarity with version control systems.
- Experience working with software development teams and understanding the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certifications.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Additional Assets:
- Experience in start-up environments or dynamic technology companies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Experience with cross-functional team coordination and mentoring team members in Agile practices.
