We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of international pharmaceutical company business and drive the company’s financial strategy in subsidiaries in the Russian Federation.
Responsibilities
- Overall Finance responsibility of our 2 Legal Entities in Russia: commercial entity and a pharmaceutical production plant.
- Maintaining the economical and financial stability of the company.
- Develop and implement Financial and business controls, including local accounting, financial and administrative policies.
- Finance Business Partner to local General Manager and Head of Plant. Active participation in the creation of business strategies to increase profitability and return on investments.
- Prepares financial Forecasts, Budgets and Long Term Plans, including developing of financial models.
- Responsible for Financial Reporting – local statutory reporting (RAS), and Group Manamgement Reporting.
- Oversees statutory and IFRS Audits of the 2 Russian subsidiaries – partner with Big 4 auditors.
- Set-up and maintain Finance and IT systems locally – ERP system, data management systems and document flow system.
- Monitoring local cash flow in Russia, repsonsible for local working capital management, and managing external financing partners.
- Responsible for compliance with financial, tax and accounting requirements in the Russian Federation.
- Supervising own Finance and accounting team of 10 people and external service providers (outsourced payroll as well as ad-hoc tax and financial consultants).
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 10 years of work experience in Finance, of which at least 5 years on Managerial role.
- Ideal candidate comes from a lead finance role in Pharmaceutical Industry or FMCG company, or 2nd person in Finance in a big multinational company.
- Production finance experience, including production controller.
- In-depth knowledge of Russian Accounting Standards and IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point. Previous knowledge of 1C ERP system is a plus.
- Previous experience with Transfer Pricing and intercompany transactions.
- Fluency in English language.
- Strong analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidate shall be able to work independently, capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure in peak times.
- Experience in Managing a Team, inspire, train and develop people internally.
