The new Radisson Hotel, Perm, due to open soon, is looking for an experienced and outgoing Head of Sales & Marketing to be fully responsible for delivering the budget revenue for Rooms and MICE segments and accountable for sales team efficiency and performance, to manage all sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations through management of the sales & marketing team.

Our Head of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for:

• formulation and implementation of Strategic Plan, Budget and Sales KPI’s;
• analysis of the current and potential markets/trends, coordination of all activities for maintaining and increasing revenue through added business volume and increased rate;
• procuring new and repeat business for the hotel, maintaining contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines and wholesalers, etc.;
• creating and implementing special programs to achieve greater productivity;
• managing key accounts;
• overseeing the selling and servicing of group business;
• coordinating the development of all promotional material;
• providing direction on and conducting market research;
• monitoring competitor activities;
• maintaining close liaison with Regional/Corporate Sales teams and those of other RHG hotels to ensure the hotel receives proper corporate consideration, direction and support;
• ensuring the hotel is represented as an active member of the local community through association membership;
• coordinating sales and promoting business for other RHG hotels within the region, interacting with worldwide regional sales offices with particular attention to local office;
• planning and executing sales trips to major market areas;
• attending major travel functions to promote sales for the hotel;
• directing all sales activities for Sales Managers to ensure they meet the goals of the Revenue Plan;
• organizing and attending major sales/PR related functions within the hotel.

Our Head of Sales & Marketing has the following qualifications:

• higher education in Sales, Marketing or related field and 3 years of relevant experience or similar supervisory role, in the international hotel chain;
• ability to produce the Annual Revenue Plan in conjunction with hotel Executive Committee, Sales and Marketing Budgets and forecasts;
• demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties;
• analytic minded;
• strong leadership, problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities;
• energetic, initiative and reliable, focused on the details;
• is able to work under pressure in multitasking environment and meet the deadlines with a minimum supervision;
• Full proficiency in English is a must.
